Welcome. Thank you for joining me. My music comes from my heart, my life, and even beyond me. It is the bridge between where you are and where your soul wants to go. It is the anticipation of something beautiful about to happen. The words are honest and uplifting. The vocals are clear, soulful, and warm. The sound is soulful house, using textures and rhythms that make you want to move. This is The Courtney Hinton Experience.
Bio
Who is Courtney Hinton?
Courtney Hinton is an emerging singer, songwriter, and voice over talent in the Washington, DC area. She has performed background vocals in Washington, DC for Dionne, Celeste Crenshaw, Keith Pierre, and Dr. Tyrone Stanley. She was a pit singer for the sold-out musical Soul on Fire (Kennedy Center). She also was one of the featured performers in the 2017 Delta Sigma Theta Federal City Alumnae Chapter’s Emerging Artists Showcase. She is a dedicated member of Unity of Washington, DC’s Choir, where she sings in the Soprano section. Most recently, she collaborated on a song composed by Holly Baynham, owner of R. Street Studios. They also collaborated on a song commissioned by the DC Office of Cable Television, Film, Music, and Entertainment for a special that aired on Veterans Day in November 2018. She has a BA from the University of Maryland, College Park.
